Landscape Impressions

Simply There

Simply There is a series of recent paintings in which I take time to celebrate the beauty in ordinary places -places that might be easily passed by without a second look.

These paintings are similarly framed in a recessed box with a gold crackle finish. Some are naturally paired or in a three-some for possible wall display.

Rocks and Prairie

This series of paintings records travel observations across the prairies of the Midwest and hikes along rocky places.
Except for Superstition Mountain which is larger, these paintings are 28 x 28", acrylic on canvas and box framed in oak.

Beauty surrounds us. The earth, the sky, the change of seasons.
The myriad shapes, colors, textures. . . up close and at a distance, observing these can be a celebration of life for us, a recognition that we are connected with all of life.
